If you read my previous post, you'll know that we're currently on a family holiday on the south coast of France and that this week I'm giving you the low-down on packing right.
If you're heading to warmer climes, or even if you're enjoying a staycation, you're probably dreaming plenty of pool time, but may be struggling to find floatation devices that go younger than 12 months. Luckily, Zoggs Swimming Trainer Seat goes down to 3-12 months so you'll be able to do just that.
If you're familiar with children's swimming lessons, then Zoggs will be a brand you have come to rely on. Our little one has been having swimming lessons each week since he was three months and their swimming toys always from a central part of them, so I didn't hesitate to order their swimming trainer seat, but I did leave it to the last minute (oops!), so I ordered through Argos' click and reserve service which meant it arrived in store the next day just in time to pack in our suitcase for departure. Phew!
It is designed to float more stably than the rubber rings you might be used to as it's made up of four individual chambers that are blown up separately. The seat itself is designed, as you might expect, like a nappy with holes for your little one's legs to hang through so they can kick to their heart's content, while the pillow back for extra support gives that extra bit of stability.
We're on day four at our villa and our bubs has enjoyed some quality time in the pool each day, while we're safe in the knowledge that he's going to be safe. In fact, we're just off for a swim now.
